At the bottom of the spine, in gilt, is the name of James G. Swan. This copy is from the libray of the famous historian-ethnographer and bears his stamp on the title page and frontis of the first paper, on two maps in that paper and on the last page of the paper. It also appears on the title pages of papers 2 and 3. His signature is on the title page of papers 1 and 2. Item #937
