In 1991, the German Textile Museum in Krefeld presented the first exhibition in Europe of 15th-19th Century Aymara textiles. The textiles, superb examples from the author's collection of these Bolivian weavings, are wonderfully illustrated in full-page color photographs. A brief overview (in the English and German text) of Aymara weaving is provided, as are technical data for each illustrated weaving.
