To celebrate special "West African days" at the Ingelheim am Rhein Museum of Art, the museum arranged for five weeks of cultural activities and important speakers. Chief among the events was an exhibition of African art masterpieces from the Musee Barbier-Muller. This catalogue of that exhibition contains several fine essays (in German) by Claude Savary and 56 pages of very fine photographs of the best of Barbier Muller's African art collection.
