This slim Galerie Biedermann publication presents twenty-five terra cotta statuettes excavated from the inland delta of Mali's Niger River. The twenty-five statuettes represent both styles (southern and northern) found in this region, and are thought to be 300-1200 years old. The text (in English, German, and French) provides good background informaiton on the objects illustrated in the 25 photographs.
