The Fuller Collection, given to the Field Museum, was begun before 1900 and includes over 6500 objects. Especially strong on Polynesia and New Zealand, it includes outstanding examples from all of the Pacific. The focus of the highly informative text is on each object and its use. Excellent photographs reveal great detail of the more than 300 objects shown. This oversize, major reference work is considered one of the cornerstone volumes of Oceanic art.
