Diminutive examples of native arts and artifacts from both sides of the Bering Strait, drawn from the collections of local museums in Russia, Canada and Alaska, were displayed in 1995 in a traveling exhibition that visited several Alaskan museums. More than 300 small objects--almost none of which have been previously published and many never before exhibited--created for use in the village or on the hunt, spanning a 1000 year period to the 20th century, are illustrated and discussed.
