One of the earliest museums to collect Plains Indian art was the Denver Art Museum. In 1982, for the first time, the bulk of this famous Plains Indian art collection was ex-hibited, and later traveled to four European and three U.S. museums. This catalogue of the collection includes an excellent text and descriptions by the museum's curator of Native American Indian Art and splendid photographs of this very fine collection.
