One of the few exhibitions of "ere ibeji" (twin figures) to have been mounted was held in 1994 at the Afrika Museum in Berg en Dal. Drawing from the museum's extensive collection of these figures that have been carved for about the past century and one-half, the author has made a "...modest attempt..towards a general typology." The text (in Dutch, but with a brief English "Summary"), describes the various pairs and their characteristics, and illustrates many different types of "ere ibeji"
